Reconnection Stories

When I was lost and couldn't find a sense of belonging, I drew strength from the natural environment. My community includes my family, friends, and people who live on the same land. The grass did not change color because of my presence, and the sea did not change temperature because of my touch. I feel accepted by the natural environment, and my community doesn't reject me because I'm not as good as I thought. I'm the only one who hasn't accepted myself. The sense of belonging is what I give to myself, and the environment and community will help me integrate.
