This week has been both exciting and nerve-wracking as I embarked on my DES300 proposal review again. Receiving feedback from Roma (DES300) and Gabriela (DES301) was insightful and pushed me to refine my idea further. I felt a mix of satisfaction and eagerness to improve as I resolved the feedback and worked on enhancing the initial concept.
But to be honest, this week has left me feeling a bit lost. I have heard people share their ideas during class and realized that we all have some direction for the final project. Even though there are many ideas coming through my head right now, I have to say that I'm constantly dismissing them. All of these ideas are immature at this point, and all have obvious drawbacks. Either they are technically difficult to implement, or time constraints make it impossible to achieve the desired result.
Overall, I think this week was inspiration-starved. But not for nothing, I still did some board setup. That way, I haven't wasted this week, and hopefully, I can catch up next week. I have to say that the timeline is a helpful tool. It allows me to organize my thoughts when sorting out the timeline. Setting up the Miro board provided a visual framework to organize my thoughts and ideas, which was immensely helpful.

I'm certainly not willing to sit back and wait for inspiration to return. My plan is to write down all my current ideas as my original brainstorm. 10 minutes into the writing, I asked myself the question, "In what way is my product going to solve the dilemma of the bird hitting the glass by mistake?" This question led me to a more direct question: why do birds hit the glass? That's because of the visual differences between birds and humans, which make it difficult for them to distinguish between the real sky and the sky reflected in the glass. The problem to be solved is how to reduce the glass reflection, and I started from this point and came up with some ideas.

Although I still don't know the final product, at least I know what to do next week. This is at least some guidance in the confusion. I am excited to see my idea develop further and looking forward to the next steps in the process.
