This week marked my return from a relaxing holiday, and it's been a bit of a struggle to regain my work rhythm. This reflection will use The four F's of active review framework, designed by Dr. Roger Greenaway.

Facts:
While I can't claim that I've completed any major milestones, I've made some progress. I finalized the goals and objectives for my project, a crucial step in giving my work a clear sense of direction.

Based on the "Website design checklist" I put together earlier, I'm currently working on organizing the textual content on the site, as well as the design of the logo.

When preparing the content for the website, I sorted out what type of textual content was needed for the website. Then, I started populating the content.

By the way, I've settled on the project's name, “Feather View.” This name implies a focus on birds and their experiences. Creating a safe environment for our feathered friends reminds us to stand on a viewpoint that aligns with the birds. On the other hand, feathers are distinct and varied, as each feather has its own pattern and coloration. This name suggests a project that allows customization.
Feelings:
Adapting to work after a holiday has been more challenging than I anticipated. At times, I felt a bit frustrated by the slow start and the struggle to find my form. However, as I began to make progress on my project, especially when finalizing the goals and objectives, I felt a sense of accomplishment and renewed motivation.
Findings:
Finalizing the project's goals and objectives provided me with much-needed clarity and purpose. It felt like I was laying a strong foundation for the project's future development. Deciding on the project's name, "Feather View," was a pivotal moment as it added a sense of identity to the project. It also allowed me to move forward with my logo design. As for the written content, I realized that it was vital to stick to a user-centered approach to ensure that the project's message was communicated effectively. The previous content has therefore been rewritten. Additionally, I will assume that I myself am the user and find out what information I would like to get out of the site, and let that perspective lead my writing. So, I am currently collating and listing what I need. Afterwards, I will add any missing text.
Futures:
Looking ahead, I plan to address the challenges of transitioning back to work by gradually implementing a more structured routine. During this week's reflection, I realized that there was a bit of a mismatch between the weekly to-do list I set up on Miro at the beginning of the school year and my real progress right now. This leaves me with no way to identify my next task when I'm lost. As a result, I thought I'd rewrite the following weekly tasks. I'll have it done by early next week to make sure I'm on track with my subsequent tasks. Also, I'm committed to completing the remaining tasks, such as finalizing the logo and completing the website's textual content, with diligence and attention to detail.
I would say this week's experiences have reaffirmed the importance of gradual progress in achieving project milestones. Taking small steps and breaking down larger tasks into smaller, more manageable tasks is key to successful project completion. Finally, I'm committed to staying organized and focused on my goals in my future design.
