Pluriversal reflection
Based on the first five weeks of study, my outlook on the future has changed a bit and, at the same time, strengthened some beliefs.
Firstly, in my personal position in the first week, I mentioned that we will fully achieve the UN SDGs by 2030. After studying and analyzing the three Design approaches, I found that most of the future e problems humanity will use to solve an e related to the SDGs. For example, climate issues, stainability issues, etc. By studying the case studies of the three design approaches, I have learned that the situation facing humanity is dire.
Secondly, in the future diary, I mentioned a large market for AI housekeepers in housekeeping. After five weeks of analysis and research, I think it is possible to achieve this in 2037, especially with the 'automation' of life. But in a future where life is increasingly automated, perhaps some of the human touches are missing. For me, the ritual of eating becomes one of the opportunities to take a break from our busy lives. So I question my first week's diary of the future: whether meals cooked by machines in "smart kitchens" have a "soul." Perhaps it would be better to have assistance from the machine in the cooking process rather than a complete replacement. Whether in terms of experience, well-being, or cultural transmission. According to the Indigenous futurism I learned in the first five weeks, Indigenous people in the past cooked dishes by hand during their busy lives. And for 2037, we are also indigenous in the recent past. There are now some automatic cooking machines available, but most families still choose to cook by hand, and I think the richness of what food conveys cannot be replaced by machines.
Also, my blog in week 1 was missing a prediction of how people will be travelling in 2037. my case study in blog4 sparked more thought and gave me a lot of inspiration. Therefore, I think the way people will travel in 2037 will change drastically from today.

With continuous refinement, I have added some humanistic considerations to m three domains and kept the rest the same. For example, I will consider cultural bias in my future scenario. And looking back at my future scenario mood board, I think I was mainly focused on 'machines' and 'automation,' but now I want more 'human' aspects. I would like to see more "human" involvement. Of course, keeping it green is my firm belief.
In the next phase, I think I will focus on the future of transport.
